Ian suffered a traumatic brain injury last Sept, yes Sept 11, pretty ominus. Initially they told us he wouldn't make it, but he did. Many prayers went up for Ian and praise the Lord He answered them. Ian is with us and is in the biggest fight of his life, cause h e is in fact fighting for his life.
He now lives in a rehab facility and gets very frustrated cause his body will not do what he mind is capable of comprehending. Ian is a very smart young man and what he told me last about this whole ordeal was that "this is not fun"./ He perseverates on things and until he can find a way to make some happiness out of the life he now has there will not be fun. Life is different now and that means for all of us who love and care for Ian.
Ian truly has come a long way, he can talk, quite eliquantly now and in a normal tone. His command of the English language is amazing. We have decided to take him out of the facility for some time at the end of the month and perhaps every couple of weeks for outings for the day.
A change of pace should help his psyche.
